Ok, ya, I get it...

Yup, so I suck at updating...

It's almost December and I have just one more semester left of college after I finish up these next two weeks. Scary. I have a couple papers left to write and two tests and then I'm done and I have like, no classes next semester. I'm taking yoga, beer & wine appreciation, history of prime-time tv, my thesis, and one real class. I don't even have classes on Wednesday or Friday and only one on Monday at 5:15p.m.
SU Football is over. I was pretty sad after our last home football game. We won that one, thank God. We ended up being 4x better than we were last year! woot! We were 4-8. That's right. Huge improvement... how sad. It was still fun because we won 3 games at home and we had one overtime game and two veritable blow-outs. Perfect.

SU Basketball has started! We're ranking #14 in the nation and we're 7-0. I went to last night's game against Holy Cross. It was a lot of fun. I hadn't been to a bball game in over a year because of being abroad last spring. I'm excited for Saturday night because it's against Wichita State who's really good. They beat LSU. I really hope we win. Plus, I'm taking the LSATS earlier Saturday, so I need a good break. Then after the game, I'm going out for Natalie's birthday!

I met with a Law School Advisor today. She read over (and ripped apart) my make-shift resume. I made it especially for her because I knew I needed one and I had no idea what to do, so I did it in two seconds. She also read over my entrance essay and she said it was great, not to touch it. That was nice to hear. She also said that she thought I would definitely get into the schools I'm applying to and she convinced to me apply to Harvard because she thinks I have a legitimate shot at getting in. I'll apply, but I don't know how good that shot is, I guess it can't hurt to do it. My mom wants me to apply there as well, and she's playing, so why not?

I'm writing this now because I'm stressing so much over the next couple weeks' worth of work that I have "shut down." I'm basically pretending I don't have work to do. I'm not in that much of a crunch, I do have time, but I feel like next Tuesday I'm going to want to cry. At this point, I can't get too crazy because I'm actually doing okay. I want to finish another paper by tomorrow night. Then, Thursday and Friday is going to be a total LSAT prep crunch for Saturday morning. After the craziness of Saturday night... hehe... I should only have one paper left to write (if I get that one finished by tomorrow) and the two tests. All the while, I'll be finishing up applications and getting those sent out by January... Senior year is turning out to be a blast, I'm sure you can tell.

Seriously though... I cannot wait for next semester. There will be more basketball, more free time, less class work. All I really have to concentrate on is writing my thesis. After December 14th, I'll be a 25 page paper away from graduating college. It's crazy. Seems like just yesterday I was at Triton, figuring out how to graduate high school by doing the least work possible. Different state, different school, same attitude. Good to know college hasn't changed me, lol.
