Just so everyone who reads this knows (and I know that not only are there few of you, but you probably don't care) but the previous post is not supposed to look like that. The text is supposed to go around the pictures, and in the edit view, it does, so I don't know how to fix it.
ANYWAY...
Christmas break is almost upon us and I have just two things left to do in order to finish up and get out of Syracuse for my last break as a college student. I have taken the LSATS and I am essentially done with application stuff, I just have to iron out a few of those details and I'll get those sent out. It's frightening to think that this is all almost over. I've had a great time in college and I've learned a lot about myself and other people and I've made some great friends, but I'm ready to move on.
I'm excited about the prospect of law school and beyond. I hope it lives up to my expectations but i think what I'm looking forward to the most is being back in Boston, with "my people."
For the present however, I'm looking forward to Christmas and time without homework, although I will be starting research on my thesis. Ugh. But I'm done shopping, I just have to do some wrapping and I'm looking forward to spending another New Year's Eve in Boston with my friends, doing it cover-free at the brother's bar (I knew he'd be good for something!). I'm just excited to see people I haven't been able to see because of being in Syracuse and people being abroad (that mean's you jenn!). I'm also hoping to spend a day at the Wrentham Outlets on the south shore, cuz why not? And of course, the annual "spend our gift certificates" bonanza with miss jen coleman.
A lot to look forward to, but I still have work to finish before any of that can happen. I have to revise and edit a paper and then take a final exam. I also have a meeting with my potential thesis advisor and a letter of recommendation writer and hang out with some of the people at Syracuse I still like.
:)
