People Suck!

I'm not going to extrapolate on the title of the post, I think examples will only prove to infuriate me more, and it really gets my point across in a succinct way. That statement goes for both group work partners and money hungry asshole photographers who won't leave poor Michelle Williams and the rest of those close to Heath Ledger alone.

RIP

Heath was one of those great actors you don't forget. His charisma and talen shone brightly, even in a campy teen movie like 10 Things I Hate About You. That movie and A Knight's Tale made me fall in love and movies like The Patriot, Monster's Ball, and Brokeback Mountain made me respect him. I even forgave him for Casanova, which was crap. Just a few weeks ago I was talking to my brother about my anticipation for Batman. I was nervous because I didn't want the creepy character to ruin my romantic image of him. Now I have to see it.

Okay, that's it for the reflecting. A quick recap to this entry... The vast majority of people suck, just not Heath Ledger.

My Boys

I really hope that we can be 18-0 after this weekend and then, after Februray, be 19-0 and Champs.

I'm sooooo nervous.

But at least it gets my mind off of homework and the writer's strike that's left me with shitty TV.

Well, we got to 18-0.... blarg! stupid Giants! and stupid mainstream media for their collective rejoicing and blarg to the ProBowl fans who booed my boys. Stop hating America!

It's 2008!

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year!

One of my favorite presents, other than my dustbuster (don't judge), was my desk calendar my mother got that counts down the days until Bush is gone, it even goes until next Jan 20, day zero. The count stands at 382 if you're wondering.

The big news today is the beginning of the political season with the Iowa Caucus and, here are the results. Of course, they're not official, but CNN has predicted the winners, and let's assume they're right:

Dems: Barack Obama
My Comments: I kind of like him. I haven't really done my good kid research, but I like that he's "the new kid" and yet I worry about his experience. I tend to ignore the experience problem because that's all we hear from the opposition, so it makes me think that that may be the only problem, and it's probably being exaggerated. Besides, I hate Hillary and I think he has some good ideas.


Reps: Mike HuckabeeMy Comments: I hate him. He's a bigot and an uber-religious, former obese, father of obese children freak. I think it's a bad sign if the first family is fat, I think it sends the wrong message. I hate that he openly condemns gay people and he's everything wrong with Republicans and the worst part is, he's not the worst one!

Canada here I come?
